Stress: “I never feel like I’m doing enough, Calm. I’m always under pressure to do more, be more. It’s like there’s a weight on my shoulders that I can never shake off.”
Calm: “I understand how you feel, Stress. But rushing around all the time is like a man flailing his arms in a pool, trying to stay afloat. He tires himself out, and in the end, he’s still in the same place.”
Stress: “I don’t have time to take it slow, Calm. There’s too much to do.”
Calm: “It’s not about doing less, Stress. It’s about doing more with less effort. When you’re in a rush, you make mistakes. You waste time fixing those mistakes. But when you’re calm and focused, you can achieve more in less time.”
Stress: “But what if I don’t have time to plan and prioritize? What if I just have to keep going?”
Calm: “Then you need to learn to flow like water, Stress. When you’re in a hurry, you’re rigid and inflexible. But when you’re calm and relaxed, you can adapt to any situation. You can find a way around any obstacle.”
Stress: “I see your point, Calm. But I just can’t help feeling like I need to be doing more.”
Calm: “That feeling is natural, Stress. But it’s important to recognize that it’s just a feeling. It’s not reality. You’re doing enough. You’re enough. You just need to learn to trust yourself and your abilities.”
Stress: “You make it sound so easy, Calm.”
Calm: “It’s not easy, Stress. But it’s worth it. When you learn to be calm and focused, you can achieve anything. You can be like the water, able to flow over and around any obstacle, always moving forward.”
